Our founder and CEO, Simon, was honoured to be invited to a lunch last week organised by the British Malaysian Society to listen to the right hon Dato Seri Amirian bin Shari, the Chief Minister of Selangor discuss his plans to elevate the region.
Selangor is one of 13 states that comprise Malaysia. Known as the ‘Golden State’, it is a national hub for education and industry.
A large percentage of our imports come from Selangor, and we continue to explore new investment opportunities in the state to support small and medium sized businesses.
“Selangor is the centre for our export, and it was an honour to meet the Chief Minister and hear his plans to elevate Selangor further. We look forward to working with delegates and businesses in the region,” said Simon Suresh, OMalaysia CEO and founder.
The lunch was held at the Bright Courtyard restaurant in Baker Street, London and was attended by members of the British Malaysian Society and the Hon Dato Teng Chang Khim, Selangor state executive councillor; Dr nor Fuad bin Abd Hamid, deputy Selangor state secretary (development); Dato Hasan Azhari bin Idris, CEO of Invest Selangor; Mohd Hidayat bin Mohd Sauffi, private secretary to the chief minister of Selangor.
