Malaysia and UK Strengthen Trade Ties: Exotic Food and Products now easily accessible in Leicester

Leicester, UK – The OMalaysia warehouse was recently paid a visit by The Malaysian Trade Commissioner, Ms. Nurdiana Talit, and the First Secretary of Trade, Mr. Shahrolnizam, in an official visit to further strengthen trade relations between Malaysia and the UK.

During their visit, Ms. Talit and Mr. Shahrolnizam toured a warehouse and several retailers that carry Malaysian products, including Mr. Burger and Food Souq at Charles St. These stores offer a variety of authentic Malaysian food items, such as spices, sauces, and snacks, as well as an non-food products like clothing and handicrafts.

The Commissioner and Secretary met with local business owners to discuss potential trade opportunities and ways to further promote Malaysian products in the city. Mr. Simon Suresh, also highlighted our plans to roll out our products to 100 stores and we are grateful for the support and recognition from the government of Malaysia and will continue to work towards expanding our presence in the UK market.”

The visit demonstrates a strong commitment from the government of Malaysia to support and expand trade relations with the UK, bringing the best of Malaysia to the people of Leicester.
