This year OMalaysia celebrated its 3rd year participating at the London Halal Food Festival.
The festival attracted over 18,000 people this year after a 2 year hiatus due to the pandemic. The two-day event, which ran from Sept. 24-25 at London Stadium in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park is a hallmark event for the London Muslim community.
“OMalaysia is proud to be back representing the best of Malaysian Food & Culture. This year we introduced a new range of Malaysian snacks which included our signature spicy tapioca chips, sweet Sabahan banana chips and even salted egg flavoured snacks”, said an OMalaysia sales representative.
During the festival the OMalaysia team gave away hundreds of free samples and free gifts which included Malaysian teh tarik (pulled tea), sambal (chilli jam) and cooking spices.
Londoners had this to say about OMalaysia:
“We seek our this stall every year to see what new flavours they have in stock for us”
“We visited Malaysia on our honeymoon and fell in love with Malaysian sambals. Now we know where to restock when we run out”
“These products are delicious, getting the chance to try them really helps since I have never had Malaysian food before”
As this event keeps growing and attracting a wider audience of foodies alike, OMalaysia looks forward to introducing a wider range of Malaysian Food & Culture. If you are interested in having OMalaysia attend your food festival contact us at : [email protected]
