Ho Ann Kiong Temple

Ho Ann Kiong stands proudly as the oldest Chinese Temple in Chinatown, Kuala Terengganu. This magnificent temple showcases stunning red and golden architectural features alongside exquisite stone carvings. Visitors can also marvel at the colossal wishing tree located behind the temple premises.

Ho Ann Kiong serves as an exemplary representation of traditional Chinese architectural style. Its history traces back to 1801 when it was erected by the early Hokkien community. Sadly, the temple fell victim to a devastating fire in 2010. However, it underwent a complete restoration in 2012, ensuring its preservation for future generations to appreciate. Additionally, UNESCO has recognized the heritage significance of the Ho Ann Kiong temple.
